Subcontractors & Subcontractor Management

It is common for Honeybee to engage in a subcontract for design and analysis services or manufactured goods (machine parts). This is generally due to cases where a project requires a special type of analysis or a machine part that is outside the capability of in-house tools, machines and software. The way in which Honeybee Robotics manages subcontractors is dependent on the nature and size of the subcontract. Typically subcontracts are initiated by a Project Manager in need of outside goods or services. It is then generally the Project Manager’s responsibility to, at a minimum, set up a basic contract to establish baseline performance expectations.
