Honeybee Robotics will be exhibiting alongside partner ColdSteel Laser at the upcoming 5th World Congress of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) in New York. The event exhibition hall, from July 27-29, will showcase new technologies for head and neck oncology surgery from over 50 companies.
Honeybee Robotics will be supporting the exhibition of ColdSteel Laser’s endoscopic laser scalpel system, designed for minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in lumens in the body. The device uses a laser to cut and remove tumors in areas where a traditional scalpel would struggle to gain access. Honeybee is providing technology development on the embedded systems that translate surgeon inputs into a precise path for the laser.
