Honeybee offers the versatile P35 actuator for applications requiring higher output torque and stiffness than our smaller geared motors. This actuator uses a custom-designed stepper motor and integrated harmonic drive to generate more torque in a smaller volume than other products in the same class. The P35 is designed to be a higher-performing drop-in replacement for several of those competing products. Large duplex output bearings provide high axial and bending stiffness, and a 0.8”-diameter throughbore allows for easy passthrough of electrical, RF, or optical signals. Redundant fine and coarse potentiometers provide output position within 0.4 degrees of accuracy. The P35 has a growing record of flight heritage and utilizes a dedicated production and automated test cell at Honeybee.
